The Wonder Years: Kevin Arnold & Winnie CooperAwww, a jillion hearts just broke!

TMZ reports that ’90s dream girl Danica McKeller, a.k.a. Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, married longtime composer boyfriend Mike Verta in Los Angeles over the weekend.  Them’s the breaks, Kevin Arnold!

And just so you know, Winnie Cooper grew up totally awesome and not only graduated from UCLA with a degree in mathematics, but wrote a book called “Math Doesn’t Suck: How to Survive Middle-School Math and Not Break a Nail” to encourage girls to heart math to boot.  I can’t really vouch for the book since I’m like insanely good at math and reading it would just be a huge waste of my time, but I assume it’s pretty fantastic.

Congrats, Danica McKeller!  Hope your love is infinite, never derivative or infinitesimal.

(Those are math words, you big dummy.  Pick up a book once in a while, would ya?)

East vs. West: TV Show Showdown

This is pretty awesome.  Some dude named Dan Meth made a map pinpointing where American shows live:

U.S.A. Sitcom Map

Snooty old New York gets its own map.

This shizz is ripe for a decent East Coast vs. West Coast rivarly.  Shoot, this is better than pop vs. soda!

Who would win?  Including New York, we’ve got The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Family Guy, Cheers, Boy Meets World, and Murphy Brown on the East, up against the West’s The Wonder Years, Full House, Twin Peaks, Arrested Development, Baywatch, ALF, and Grey’s Anatomy, just to give you a taste.

It pains me to say it, but I think the East may have it.  Erin does always say I like that East Coast humor.  So sue me!
