Poorer and Richer!

The Giudices in richer, happier days.
Ahoy, television/celebrity/celebreality news fiend mateys! There’s so much news in the world, it’s hard to know where to start. Ooh—I know. Two things in particular appeal to me today. Ready? Here we go!
Real Housewives of New Jersey housewife Teresa Giudice and meaty husband Joe have put a bunch of personal belongings up for public auction. Yes, that’s right, Danielle Staub was right, Teresa is broke! Er, bankrupt. But technically, broke. Joe somehow made enough for Teresa to buy furniture with cash (remember the series premiere? Yikes!), but not enough to support her $2000/shopping trip habit. Wah wah! Items for sale include several things ya’ll can bid on for me: a suit of armor (who doesn’t need one! Come on!) and a foosball table. Their house is in foreclosure, Teresa owes $12,000 to a fertility clinic, and Joe personally owes a whopping $5 million to former partners of (presumably failed) real estate deals, and contrary to their freewheeling attitudes present on RHONJ, they claim to make only $79,000 a year, combined. How can they stay afloat? Two words: mob connections. Too stereotypical? Ok, ok, how about three: Gia’s modeling career!
Moving on to actually awesome things, Gleeks: take note! Lots of dirt on the upcoming season of Glee was unloaded when creator Ryan Murphy took the stage, along with a handful of cast members, at last week’s San Diego Comic-Con. Among the revelations: a Rocky Horror Picture Show themed episode, more Madonna, more relatives (including Rachel Berry’s two dads, finally), and more face time for the characters we never get to see, like Mike Chang, Brittany, and Tina Cohen-Chang. Less Finn, more Mercedes, is what I say! And, as we already know, an awesome sweet boyfriend for Kurt Hummel. Yes!! Bring on Season 2!
