Big Love Gets New Opening Credits For Season 4

Viewers who tuned into the Big Love Season 4 premiere Sunday night were met with a brand spankin’ new opening title sequence. Even the theme song was changed: the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows”was replaced with “Home” by the Engineers. Let’s compare the two, shall we?

Personally, I’m a fan of the old Big Love credits. There’s something more eery and artful about the original sequence, which I think represents the show well. The new ones look a bit glammed up - and all that falling just reminds me of Mad Men. I don’t love it - but don’t get me wrong, I certainly don’t hate it. What do you think?
