Kirk Cameron’s Growing Pains

Anyone who watched the sinking ship that was Growing Pains from start to finish likely knows that actor Kirk Cameron’s star power as teenager Mike Seaver combined with his rapidly growing Christian evangelism had a lot to do with the show’s incoherent plot lines in later years. Growing pains indeed!
After developing a belief in God at the height of his Growing Pains stardom, Kirk Cameron insisted that many of the show’s racier or more adult storylines be toned down, to fit in with the Christian agenda. And who could say no to that face, even if it didn’t make sense?
Now, I haven’t thought about the former hearthrob in quite some time (that’s a lie), but coming across this video on Jezebel brought his story all back for me:
An entire generation is being brainwashed by an atheistic revolution!
