Leighton Leaks: Body Control Hits the Web

Anyone who’s been following the cast of Gossip Girl off-screen knows this young, kooky cast has got a penchant for music performance, on top of regular acting duties. From Ed Westwick’s leading role in U.K. band The Filthy Youth, to Taylor Momsen’s foray into fronting The Pretty Reckless, these kids have got some serious musical ambitions.
Enter another Gossiper into the musical arena! Following a successful stint guesting on Cobra Starship single “Good Girls Go Bad,” Leighton Meester’s solo track “Body Control” has been leaked (”leaked”) online. Listen up, y’all:
Hmm… I actually think it’s a wholly decent effort, especially in comparison with the Heidi Montags and Brooke Hogans of the world. Thoughts?
To be honest, “Body Control” sort of reminds me of an updated Jem and the Holograms track, maybe that’s why I’m inclined to like it. So glad dance music is back, btw.

i’ve been playing catchup with entourage and i just saw the ep that includes this chick. she’s meh.
