‘Jon & Kate’ Separate? Divorce Rumors Bum Us Out

Sigh. There’s much ado about something on the Jon & Kate Plus 8 front. TLC has released a teaser ad where Kate Gosselin announces the couple has “made a some life-changing decisions” that will hopefully bring everyone some “peace”. They’ll (naturally) announce this news in a “very special” 1-hour episode this coming Monday.
The obvious rumors and gossip from RadarOnline are that the parents of the cutest little brood of sextuplets and twins are finally getting a divorce. Whoop-a-dee-doo?
Are we supposed to be salivating over this scandalous episode while eating popcorn on our couches? I’ve been a fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8 for many seasons, but this is just becoming depressing. I hate to jump on the cliched “Think of the children!” bandwagon, but seriously, think of the children and how handling their parents’ divorce (even speculated) in the public eye will affect them. TLC is getting pretty low, milking this for everything it’s worth. Too bad the Gosselins can’t just unplug from the show and find this “peace” in private - away from the cameras.
So the dilemna: will you watch the episode on Monday or have you had enough?
