This is pretty awesome.  Some dude named Dan Meth made a map pinpointing where American shows live:

U.S.A. Sitcom Map

Snooty old New York gets its own map.

This shizz is ripe for a decent East Coast vs. West Coast rivarly.  Shoot, this is better than pop vs. soda!

Who would win?  Including New York, we’ve got The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Family Guy, Cheers, Boy Meets World, and Murphy Brown on the East, up against the West’s The Wonder Years, Full House, Twin Peaks, Arrested Development, Baywatch, ALF, and Grey’s Anatomy, just to give you a taste.

It pains me to say it, but I think the East may have it.  Erin does always say I like that East Coast humor.  So sue me!

But Rosewell wasn’t a sitcom. Neither was Matlock. Or others. This bothers me.

I DID NOT MAKE THE MAP, DREW!!!!!!!!!!!!

But yeah, I noticed that too. There ain’t nothin’ situationally comedic about Murder She Wrote.
