Top Chef’s Carla Hall WINS (me over)

Hootie hoo! I love Carla Hall! When Top Chef NY began, I shrugged off this 44-year-old lady for being one of the oldest contestants and totally gawkward. Didn’t help that my first impression of her recalled childhood memories of another gangly TV personality…
“You look kinda familiar…” 
But week after week on Top Chef, Carla has outshined other contestant’s with her quirkiness, positivity and knack for creating tasty pastries. I don’t think she can beat egotistical-but-kinda-deservedly-so Stefan or S.F. firecracker Jamie, but Carla isn’t afraid to be her goofy self and I’m way into that.
Why Carla fans always follow her name with the phrase “Hootie hoo!”

She’s kooky and there’s nothing wrong with that. Ok, so Carla won’t be Top Chef - but can Bravo or the Food Network please give her her own show? I’ll take “Hootie hoo!” over Rachael Ray’s “YUM-O!” any day. Any. Franksing. Day.
