Sisterhood of the Traveling Square Eyes

Happy Monday, blogosphere! This week, Square Eyes is taking it to the streets. I’m in New York City for work and spotting celebs left and right!
This past Saturday night, I had the pleasure of partying down at NYC hotspot 2A in the East Village (Note: I have no idea if this place is a hotspot). Now who does my group and I spy across the bar but a bespectacled, facial-haired David Cross!
Spotted, East Village: never-nude Tobias Funke. Not nude.
That was an Arrested Development ref, btdubs. I’ve never seen Mr. Show, so don’t hold your breath for some hilars absurdist satirical joke reference thing (ew!).
Okay, so it gets better. The Cross-man was soon joined by a party of three. My eyes were immediately drawn to the most famous of the bunch, none other than blue-eyed, high-foreheaded Rory Gilmore! That’s right, people, David Cross hangs out with Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girls!!!
WTF?! What’s he doing hanging out with that square, am I right? I’ll tell you what! Cross was soon smooch-attacked on all sides by his apparent gf, a plain-faced, non-famous-looking gal it took a good deal of web-surfing to identify.
Get this, folks: 44-year-old David Cross is dating Rory Gilmore’s 25-year-old Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star, Amber Tamblyn, a.k.a. Joan of Arcadia! Grody!
The Internet confirms this gossip I was lucky enough to spot IRL. Also notable: Gilmore had an attractive, unfamous sk8r boi in tow. Check him out here.
Exciting, right? This town is crawling with minor celebs! Maybe tonight we’ll see a more famous set of Traveling Pantsers.
